Sr QA Tester

As a Software Test Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You should have a solid background in Insurance, Financial Services, or e-Commerce sectors, along with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your ability to work independently within a matrix environment will be essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your expertise in system development life cycle methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, DevOps) to drive the testing process effectively. - Employ test management software like Zephyr and demonstrate proficiency in basic SQL for efficient testing procedures. - Identify and implement appropriate testing techniques, tools, and guidelines to meet project requirements. - Utilize test automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, Ruby, and Selenium to streamline testing processes. - Design test solutions involving RESTful APIs and SOAP integrations to enhance software quality. - Work with diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Collaborate with engineering teams in both in-house and outsourced environments to achieve testing objectives. Qualifications Required: - Possess relevant professional qualifications such as ISTQB or similar certification. - Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision. - Exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address testing challenges effectively. - Work effectively as a team player to achieve common goals. - Showcase good time-management skills to meet project deadlines. - Utilize great interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration. - Hold a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field to support your technical expertise.
