Sr. QA Automation Engineer

The Sr. QA Automation Engineer position based in Pune is a full-time role that involves working closely with the Manager, Developers, Development leads, Business Analysts, and other project team members. As a Quality Engineer, your primary purpose is to define, create, execute, and maintain various aspects of web app and mobile testing. Your major responsibilities include establishing purpose and deliverables for all test efforts, creating and executing detailed test cases, developing test plans and strategy documents, reviewing test plans with the project team, participating in all testing aspects, reporting defects, participating in defect triage discussions, guiding junior team members on smaller projects, and automating test cases using industry standard tools. To qualify for this role, you need 4-8 years of experience in testing web-based and/or mobile applications, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of defect management tools, multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, professionalism in interactions with diverse groups, experience with offshore development and testing teams, industry standard testing certification, and exposure to SOX compliance and audits.,
