Sr. Manager Technical (AI/ML)

You are a highly experienced and technically proficient Manager/Sr. Manager seeking to lead a team of AI/ML engineers in Chennai (IITM). With 6-10 years of experience, you will drive the development of innovative solutions leveraging your expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Python programming, and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure, including hands-on experience in Scikit-learn and related tools. Your responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and project goals, managing the end-to-end ML lifecycle from data preprocessing to model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. You will ensure best practices in model versioning, reproducibility, and automation, provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, stay updated with the latest research and trends in AI/ML, and recommend the adoption of relevant technologies. Working closely with stakeholders, you will translate business problems into AI/ML solutions, drive technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Your mandatory skills include proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML), Python programming, cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure, Scikit-learn and ML libraries, strong problem-solving and algorithmic skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred qualifications for this role include a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, familiarity with MLOps tools and practices, and exposure to deploying models in production environments using Docker/Kubernetes.,
