Sr. Java Developer

Location and Work Mode: This position offers remote work within Poland. Type of Employment: You have the option for Contract of Employment or B2B employment. Key Responsibilities: - Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in developing web applications using the Java/Spring stack - Experience as a team lead, including requirements handling, user story decomposition, managing middle/junior engineers, and knowledge of scrum team roles and agile development methodology - Proficiency in DevOps practices, including creating and improving CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments, networking, Unix, and understanding of k8s and docker registries - Strong background in distributed systems design and software/solution architecture - Experience in refactoring, performance optimization, and memory tuning - Knowledge of build systems such as Maven or Gradle, including dependency management, build lifecycle, release, and version management - Familiarity with Git branching models like git flow or GitHub flow - Expertise in various frameworks including Spring, ORM, messaging, security, batch, and integration - Understanding of databases, consistency models, SQL, and distributed transactions - Proficiency in microservice architecture patterns, communication patterns (HTTP, messaging, gRPC, CQRS), and API design best practices - Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of algorithms Internal Reporting and Whistleblower Protection: Wipro IT Services Poland Sp. z o.o. follows the Internal Reporting and Whistleblower Protection Regulations.
