Sr. Java Developer

You will be responsible for the role of L2 Senior Production Support Developer, focusing on Java development for high-performing, scalable, enterprise-ecommerce applications. As part of a talented software team, you will contribute to mission-critical applications throughout the full software development lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems - Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle - Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code - Ensuring designs comply with specifications - Preparing and producing software component releases - Supporting continuous improvement by exploring alternative technologies In addition, you will provide L2 support for issues forwarded by the L1 team and CSM Team, focusing on production support lifecycle deliverables such as detecting and fixing issues within defined SLAs. Qualifications required for this role include: - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject - Hands-on software development experience - Working experience in Java development and support projects - Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms - Strong problem-solving skills - Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills Preferred skills for this role include hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Bootstrap, AngularJS, Microsoft SQL, and SOAP Web Services. Your technical skills should cover a range of areas including Java 1.7 & 1.8, full stack development, strong design principles, web-based JEE application deployment, code management, feature development, code reviews, MVC JSP/Servlets, EJB, unit testing, SQL, Angular, Apache/Jboss/Wildfly configuration, Linux, GIT management, Jenkins CI, Spring, JVM profiling, development tools like Eclipse and Git, and Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
