SQL Production Support

You will be working as a SQL Development and Production Support Engineer at Datafortune Software Solution in Magarpattacity, Hadapsar Pune. Your primary responsibility will be to support and maintain SQL-based applications, optimize SQL queries, and ensure the stability and performance of production databases. It is essential for you to have 12 years of experience and be willing to work in night shifts. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts. - Provide production support for database-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving incidents. - Perform data analysis and assist in data migration or ETL activities. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure database stability and performance. - Work with team members to resolve technical issues and implement solutions. - Maintain documentation related to SQL code and support processes. - Monitor nightly jobs and proactively handle failures or performance lags. Required Skills: - 12 years of hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle). - Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and aggregations. - Basic knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques. - Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. - Knowledge of any ETL and reporting tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Power BI) is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. - Flexibility to work in night shifts and provide on-call support if required.,
