Job Description

Role Proficiency:

Systematically develops and promotes technology solutions ensuring the developed solution meets both functional and non - functional requirements.

Outcomes:

Develop and promote technical solutions which support the business requirements within area of expertise.
Ensures IT requirements are met and service quality maintained when introducing new services. Considers the cost effectiveness of proposed solution(s).
Set FAST goals and provide feedback to FAST goals of mentees
Innovative and technically sound for project analysis in depth.
Uphold the standards and best practices by adhering to them in his/her work as well as by implementing them in the team's work by reviewing and monitoring.
Provide innovative contribution within the team by coming up with ideas to automate repetitive work.
Able to mentor Developers in such a way that they can progress to the next level of growth.
Conduct peer reviews and demand high quality standards for the reviewed deliverables.
Conduct technical assessments for hiring candidates to Developer roles.

Job Title: JIRA Architect Exp : 8+ years ________________________________________ UST is looking for a JIRA Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable Atlassian JIRA solutions that align with organizational processes and strategic goals. This role involves translating complex business requirements into efficient JIRA configurations, integrating JIRA with other enterprise tools, and ensuring best practices in system governance, performance, and security. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities System Design & Architecture - Design and implement end-to-end JIRA architecture (Cloud ) to support enterprise-level program and project management. - Develop scalable JIRA structures including projects, workflows, plans,custom fields, screens, permissions, and notification schemes. - Architect JIRA automation solutions using Automation for JIRA, ScriptRunner, or similar tools. - Ensure optimal performance and scalability of JIRA instances across multiple business units. Integration & Customization - Integrate JIRA with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, and other third-party tools. - Develop custom scripts, REST APIs, and plugins as needed for automation and reporting. - Maintain data integrity and synchronization across integrated systems. Governance & Best Practices - Define and enforce JIRA governance policies including naming conventions, workflow standards, and permissions. - Establish data security and compliance protocols in collaboration with IT Security teams. - Document system design, configuration changes, and operational procedures. Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into JIRA solutions. - Provide expert consultation to Agile teams on JIRA usage for Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks. - Train and mentor JIRA administrators and end users.
