Software Support Engineer

As a Support Engineer on the Core engineering team at HeadSpin, you will play a crucial role in handling operational issues, providing engineering support, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and automating tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of production services. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, debugging, coding projects, and collaborating with remote development teams to address support issues and enhance system performance. - Provide first level of support for handling Jira tickets and operational issues from production services. - Offer engineering support for incoming Jira tickets, involving troubleshooting, debugging, and responsibilities across multiple product lines. - Work on maintenance-driven coding projects, particularly in AWS and basic Python. - Setup and maintain cloud infrastructure to support operational tasks. - Develop tools and automate manual tasks for service maintenance. - Create monitoring metrics dashboard to report system health and support status. - Collaborate with remote development teams to establish a knowledge base and skill set. - Read and understand complex application code to resolve support issues. - 2+ years of software development or technical support experience. - Proficiency in Unix and scripting languages; knowledge of Python is a plus. - Experience in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems. - Familiarity with web services, distributed systems, and web application development.,
