Software Engineer in Test

As the Lead QA Automation Engineer, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of software products by implementing robust automated testing practices. Your responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, optimizing test automation architecture, and collaborating with Scrum teams to develop and execute comprehensive test cases. Responsibilities: - Ensure high-quality testing through automated methods. - Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and overall test automation architecture. - Design and implement test automation strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage. - Develop and implement Jira dashboard and oversee test automation metrics. - Provide support to Scrum teams in designing, developing, and executing test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage based on defined completion criteria. - Analyze test requirements to align testing efforts with project objectives. - Create detailed automation test plans and secure necessary approvals. - Organize, manage, and upkeep test automation resources. - Develop, refine, debug, and execute test scripts to uphold software quality standards. - Ensure scalability of automation frameworks and facilitate continuous integration throughout the solution. - Document test execution issues and associated deliverables for transparency and accountability. Qualifications: - 8-10 years of professional experience in automation testing. - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript. - Proficiency in Python programming is an added advantage. - Demonstrated ability to build automation frameworks from scratch. - Proficient in designing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Cypress. - Experience in REST API testing using Postman and Rest Assured. - Strong knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, TestNG, and GIT for continuous integration and version control. - Excellent collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments. - Familiarity with UI tools and browser extensions used in UX testing. - Expertise in cross-browser testing and UI design verification. - Ability to create essential testing artifacts, including test scenarios, test cases, defect reports, and test summary reports. - Experience with AWS is a plus.,
