Software Engineer in Test

As a Software Engineer in Test at ISS STOXX, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Team, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting Manual, Functional, and other types of testing. - Reviewing requirements, creating, executing, and documenting test cases. - Planning, designing, and documenting various test suites for the underlying infrastructure of ISS Governance applications. - Implementing, executing, and delivering accurate test results in a timely manner, while reporting and tracking bugs in Jira. - Collaborating with Product Management and Development teams to ensure products meet business specifications and requirements. - Troubleshooting and debugging errors, identifying root causes, and coordinating with respective teams for fixing and re-testing. - Participating in QA environment management and operation, including deployments, monitoring, and issue troubleshooting. - Providing technical support to team members and participating in API testing. - Assisting in test case writing for automation suite and executing automated tests using tools like Java/Selenium, Cypress, etc. - Being flexible to learn new processes and technologies as per team requirements. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline (Masters Degree preferred). - 2-4 years of manual & automation testing experience. - Hands-on scripting (automation) or coding experience in any programming language, preferably Java. - Experience with Defect Tracking system, JIRA experience preferable. - Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Java. - Experience with interacting with RDBMS, SQL in MS SQL Server environment a plus. - Experience with Linux OS preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills. - Prior experience in a global development organization is a plus. - Entrepreneurial mindset and a CAN DO attitude.,
