Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will help accelerate our software delivery processes, ensure high availability and scalability, and maintain security and reliability across environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and manage infrastructure on AWS using best practices for scalability, availability, security, and performance.
Develop, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, reliable deployments.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
Work with containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS) to package, deploy, and scale microservices.
Monitor system performance and health; set up logging, alerting, dashboards (CloudWatch, ELB/ALB metrics, etc.).
Implement security best practices: IAM roles and policies, secrets management, compliance checks, network security (VPC, subnets, routing).
Perform root cause analysis of incidents, troubleshoot infrastructure/application issues in production.
Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, QA, operations to define infrastructure needs, deployments, and release schedule.
Optimize cost, performance, reliability of cloud infrastructure.
Maintain documentation of infrastructure, architecture, operational runbooks, SOPs.
