Software Engineer - Automation (L2) | Noida OR Hyderabad - WFO

We are currently looking an Automation Controller - L2 (Software Engineer - BPS/L2) to work with our internal teams here in Hyderabad OR Noida (WFO).

Role: Automation Controller - L2 (Fulltime/Permanent)

NOTE: As per Tech Mahindra the designation on papers will be "Software Engineer - BPS/L2"

Location: Hi-Tech city , Hyderabad OR Sector 62, Noida

EXP: 1.8Y till 5Y (Typescript + VBA + Automation)

Payroll: Tech Mahindra

Client: UK Based Publishing House (500 Years old brand)

Shift:

Hyderabad: 12PM till 9:30PM

Noida: 10AM till 7:30PM

Note: 2 way free transport will be provided

Work Mode: WFO (5 Day working/Fixed week offs on Sat & Sun)

Interview Mode: Virtual

Knowledge & Experience

Required:

• Strong programming knowledge and working experience in Typescript and VBA; knowledge of Python is a plus.

• Excellent understanding of automation processes and methodologies.

• Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.

• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

• Analytical, strong attention to details and problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to AI in development workflows (Copilot, etc).

Desirable:

• Familiarity with VBA (macros) and Selenium.

• Basic knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean principles.

• Understanding of workflow-based logic and automation tools for that (N8N, Power Automat, Make, etc).

• Understanding of AI landscape: LLMs, Asset generation tools (Image and video generation, Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text technologies, etc) for their use in developing applications is desirable. Exposure to AI frameworks and tools (multimodal LLMs, APIs, LangChain, MCP, etc).

• Experience with publishing platforms (eBooks, web-based, classroom tools and presentation software).

• Experience creating automation documentation (scripts, briefs, plans).
