Software Engineer 1

Role Overview: In this role, you will work as part of a team to design, implement, and execute both manual and automated product security tests. You will also research and develop custom product security test tools, participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and test implementations, and work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges. Additionally, you will provide technical support for test stations and tooling, research and investigate potential vulnerabilities, and support product security activities for local embedded device teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and execute manual and automated product security tests - Research and develop custom product security test tools - Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and test implementations - Work with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges - Provide technical support for test stations and tooling - Research and investigate potential vulnerabilities - Support product security activities for local embedded device teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science - 2-3 years of applicable experience in cybersecurity and software testing Preferred Qualifications: - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to think creatively and outside the box - Knowledge of fundamental product security concepts (e.g., CIA triad, secure development, etc.) - Interest and experience performing product security testing (e.g., security requirement testing, pen testing, fuzz testing, bug bounty, etc.) - Experience working with windows and web applications including knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, and other windows and web application technologies - Experience working with a variety of tools used for security testing (e.g., Burp, decompilers, etc.) - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as IEC 62443 and EU CRA (Note: The additional details about the company provided in the job description have been omitted in this summary.),
