Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud platform. You will work on observability, automation, incident response, capacity planning, and system optimization to minimize downtime and speed up recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions

Lead incident response & post-mortems

Implement and test disaster recovery strategies

Collaborate with teams to define and enforce SLAs

Automate deployment, scaling, and recovery workflows

Manage infrastructure with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes

Participate in on-call rotations.

Skills & Experience:

4+ years in SRE/DevOps roles

Proficient in Python, Bash, Shell with exposure to Chef/Ansible

Strong in AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)

Hands-on Kubernetes administration experience

Knowledge of IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)

Expertise in Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and tracing systems

Experience with PostgreSQL & network/security best practices

Familiar with CI/CD & GitOps workflows

Exposure to tools like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace.

Preferred:

AWS Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer certification

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
