Job Description

As a skilled ServiceNow QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of ServiceNow applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, executing, and automating test cases to validate ServiceNow configurations, integrations, and workflows. This role demands a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and software testing methodologies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow applications. Your expertise will be required in conducting functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for ServiceNow modules. It will be your duty to identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool while collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. Additionally, you will validate ServiceNow configurations, workflows, business rules, and integrations. Automation of test cases using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or ServiceNow ATF will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also need to ensure compliance with ITIL and industry best practices while actively participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and providing valuable feedback on system improvements. Your technical skills should include a strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, VR, and SIR. Experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) and familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, as well as hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, SOAP, REST) are essential. Furthermore, an understanding of scripting languages like JavaScript and Python for automation purposes is required. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in quality assurance and testing of ServiceNow applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment are essential. Possessing ServiceNow CSA or CAD certifications and knowledge of ITIL processes will be advantageous.,
