ServiceNow Application Developer

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Application Developer with strong expertise in UI/Portal development and custom application design
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing engaging user interfaces using ServiceNow UI Builder, Seismic framework, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or React
• This role involves end-to-end development, integration, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions tailored to diverse business requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow applications with a strong focus on UI/Portal development, leveraging UI Builder and Seismic framework for enhanced user experience
• Build reusable, scalable, and modular components to support long-term platform maintainability
• Design and implement REST API integrations and advanced configurations using Flow Designer for seamless process automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations
• Utilize JavaScript, AngularJS, and React to create responsive and high-performing web applications within ServiceNow
• Maintain code quality standards and adhere to best practices using modern tools (IDEs, debuggers, version control, and build tools)
• Apply object-oriented design principles, data structure optimization, and design patterns to improve application performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational development standards

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Application Developer
• Experience in one or more ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, CSM, SPM, HRSD, or GRC
• Proven ability to develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow App Engine, ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, Workspaces, and Integration Hub
• Proficiency in JavaScript scripting, ServiceNow workflows, and integration design
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred Qualifications (Optional)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant certifications
• Experience with ServiceNow Seismic framework and custom UI Builder components
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to integration tools such as REST, SOAP, and API gateways
