Senior WordPress Developer

Position : Senior WordPress Developer
Location : Ahmedabad, WFO Only
Experience: 6 +Years ( Immediately Joiners or 1 Month notice period)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes & plugins.
• Build and extend Gutenberg blocks and custom editor experiences.
• Implement and customize WooCommerce solutions and payment gateway integrations.
• Work on LearnDash (LMS) implementations and customizations.
• Integrate third-party APIs (REST/SOAP) and payment gateways (Stripe, QNB, FreedomPay, etc.).
• Optimize WordPress performance, caching, and DB queries for large-scale sites.
• Ensure security best practices and hardening for WordPress installations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with front-end teams on UI/UX feasibility and implementation.
• Use Git for version control and follow clean code & deployment workflows.Required Skills & Expertise
• Core: PHP, MySQL, WordPress (themes, plugins, hooks, filters)
• Front-end: JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3
• Frameworks / Libraries: Experience working with page builders and Gutenberg
• Ecommerce & LMS: WooCommerce, LearnDash (or other LMS) – customization & integrations
• APIs: REST/SOAP and third-party integrations (payment gateways, CRMs, etc.)
• Tools & Practices: Git, staging/production workflows, debugging, performance tuning, security best practices
• Soft skills: Problem-solving, ownership, ability to work independently and in a team, clear communication Nice-to-Have
• Experience with headless WordPress / decoupled architectures.
• Familiarity with server-level tuning (NGINX, caching, object cache).
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment.
• Prior experience in LearnDash course architecture or complex WooCommerce stores.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
