Senior Web Developer

You will be working at Americana Restaurants International PLC, a prominent player in the MENA region and Kazakhstan's Out-of-Home Dining industry as well as a leading operator of Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) and casual dining establishments globally. As a Senior Web Developer at Americana Restaurants International PLC, you will play a crucial role in implementing high-quality frontend solutions using modern technologies like ReactJS, NodeJS, and ExpressJS. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining code for web applications, ensuring optimal user experiences on various devices, and contributing to the technical direction of our projects. You will collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver cohesive user experiences and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-quality, reusable code for web applications using React, Redux, and related technologies - Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, addressing performance issues and technical challenges - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal user experiences - Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes - Ensure application security, accessibility, and SEO best practices are followed - Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive technical planning for sprints Skills and Qualifications: Mandatory skills: - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design principles - Extensive experience with ReactJS ecosystem including Redux Toolkit - Proven ability to optimize web applications for performance and cross-browser compatibility - Experience with version control using Git and collaborative workflows Additional skills: - Experience with NodeJS and Express for backend/API development - TypeScript proficiency - Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts - Experience with cloud services and containerization - Familiarity with global, multi-brand applications Education & Experience: - Bachelors degree in computer science or related field - 4-6 years of professional experience in web development - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with React.js - Experience working in Agile environments Expected Traits: - Autonomous and able to work independently - Takes ownership of features from start to finish - Clear communication skills - Proactive in identifying potential issues - Maintains high standards in code quality and user experience - Collaborative and adaptable to changing requirements Join us at Americana Restaurants International PLC and be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, excellence, and collaboration in driving digital transformation across our operations.,
