We are seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Systems Consultant - Application Monitoring with 6+ years of experience and be part of our growth story.

Work Mode: WFH/WFO Work Hours: 24/7 rotational shifts

As a Senior Systems Consultant Application Monitoring, you will take ownership of the design, administration, and optimization of critical application and infrastructure monitoring environments. You will work hands-on with server administration (Windows, Linux, and databases) while leading monitoring strategy and operations using industry-leading tools. This role is responsible for ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across complex enterprise environments and mentoring junior consultants to uplift team expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Monitoring Administration: Own the setup, configuration, tuning, and administration of monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor, Nimsoft (DXUIM), Grafana, Zabbix Cloud, and related tools.
• Server & Infrastructure Administration: Manage and troubleshoot Azure Cloud, Windows Server, Linux environments, and SQL Server databases at an advanced level (patching, performance tuning, security hardening).
• Incident & Problem Management: Lead root-cause analysis for critical issues, ensuring permanent fixes and process improvements.
• Performance & Capacity Optimization: Design monitoring dashboards and alerting strategies; analyze trends for proactive scaling and capacity planning.
• Automation & Optimization: Automate recurring administrative tasks, monitoring scripts, and reporting.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior team members, review their work, and ensure best practices in monitoring and system administration.
• Collaboration: Act as a senior point of contact for global stakeholders across India, Norway, Sweden, and Poland.

Skills & Qualifications:

• In-depth expertise in Windows Server, Linux administration, and Azure Cloud (VMs, services, networking, security, and cost management).
• Strong hands-on SQL Server knowledge including performance tuning, query optimization, backups, and HA/DR concepts.
• Proven experience in monitoring administration with tools like Azure Monitor, Nimsoft (DXUIM), Grafana, Zabbix Cloud (configuration, dashboards, alerts, integrations).
• 5+ years of experience in application/system monitoring with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Solid background in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in mentoring, training, or leading small technical teams.
• Exposure to deployment tools (Visual Studio Code, GitHub, PDQ).
• API testing tools (SoapUI, Postman).
• Knowledge of collaboration/documentation tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Familiarity with analytics/log tools (Kibana, Elastic Stack).
