Senior System Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior System Engineer at the organization, your role is crucial in contributing to reusable artefacts and best practices. You will leverage your demonstrated expertise to mentor colleagues, engage in research and development activities, and interact with service teams. Additionally, you will serve as an advisor on Backbase products in client projects and system integration partnerships, taking ownership of projects and assisting customers in setting up their environments. Key Responsibilities: - Mentor colleagues and share best practices - Engage in research and development activities - Interact with service teams - Serve as an advisor on Backbase products - Assist customers in setting up environments - Analyze customer requirements and evaluate existing setups - Provide well-documented implementation guidelines - Offer recommendations on security standards and performance optimization - Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of solutions - Communicate with customers and partners to provide valuable insights Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in AWS services - Experience in setting up and configuring databases and RDS - Familiarity with infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code practices - Over 5 years of experience in a similar role - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience - Proficiency in written and spoken English at a professional level - Possession of an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or similar certification would be a valuable asset,
