We offer the deepest pool of expertise across marine and engineering disciplines in more than 300 locations globally.Working as a core member of engineering team in Mumbai, you will work on the structural analysis and verification of fixed and floating structures such as jackets and topsides for our clients in the offshore Oil & Gas sector. As part of a team working on Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) projects, you will contribute to installation and loadout projects.

What will you be doing?

• Undertake engineering reviews of loadout, transportation, and installation of jackets, decks, pipelines, and subsea structures.
• Conduct structural analysis, design, and verification of offshore and onshore structures in accordance with relevant codes and specifications.
• Prepare and check calculation notes and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external vendors to ensure technical quality of deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews and client meetings to ensure project completion and satisfaction.
• Support Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) activities —training will be provided if needed.
• Coordinate with inter disciplines & outsourced vendors for ensuring technical quality of deliverables.
• Ensure all deliverables is carried out in accordance with ABL Group policies and procedures.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
  

What are we looking for?

Ideally, You Will Be An Experienced Structural Engineer With a Background Of Working On The Design Of Onshore And Offshore Fixed And Mobile Structures Such As Jackets And Topsides. More Specifically, We Are Looking For The Following

• Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering.
• In depth knowledge of industry standards and codes and the ability to apply standards to structural analysis / designs and MWS reviews.
• Knowledge of offshore engineering analysis and design computer programs.
• Expertise in Loadout, Transportation and installation engineering.
• Understanding of classification societies rules and regulations.
• Experience of using SACS. Knowledge of STAAD Pro and ANSYS is desirable.
  

Further Information

This position will be based at our office in Mumbai. We would also like to hear from candidates based in Chennai.
You must have the right to legally live and work in India.
The job holder will be expected to undertake onshore and offshore assignments. You might need to spend an extended period away from work on multi-week deployments.
