Senior SOC Architect - Boot and Power management

As a Senior Architect - Tegra at NVIDIA, you will play a key role in the Architecture team by inventing, developing, and solving state-of-the-art boot, power management, and security architecture problems. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining and specifying System on Chip Boot sequences, wake up from deep sleep states, and analyzing platform security considerations - Evaluating HW and SW security attacks and suggesting mitigations fitting the SoC Architecture - Defining BootROM software flows, designing boot staging, and applying crypto algorithms to secure boot sequences - Specifying complex hardware and software interactions, performing architecture validation, and analyzing use-cases for various products - Architecting power management hardware, state machines for sleep state sequencing, and ordering units in power up and shutdown use cases - Modeling platform interactions and developing validation tools for next-generation secure boot software - Collaborating with multi-functional teams including Architecture, Security, ASIC design, SW, product/marketing, and customer-facing teams Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master's degree preferred) - 5+ years of experience in C++ development, embedded software, and exposure to system level design - Knowledge of processor architecture, system bus architecture, ARM processor-based architecture, software design fundamentals, and hardware architecture fundamentals - Exposure to security architecture, applied cryptography, and low power SOC architecture is advantageous - Strong analytical skills, problem-solving aptitude, communication skills, and the ability to work across multi-geographical teams Join NVIDIA today and be a part of a company that continually evolves to amplify human inventiveness and intelligence.,
