Senior Silicon Validation Engineer

As a Silicon Design Validation Engineer at Lattice, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within Lattice's Silicon Engineering team. Your role will involve validating building blocks in FPGA on a board level to ensure functionality and performance align with the design intent. You will work with various IPs such as SERDES (PMA/PCS), Memory DDR (DDR4, LPDDR4, DDR5, etc.), DPHY, PLL, DSP, Fabric, I/O, and more. Your responsibilities will include developing validation and characterization plans, creating test logic RTL, driving new silicon product bring-up, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product release. Key Responsibilities: - Validate and characterize various IPs from silicon arrival to production release - Develop validation and characterization plans for specific IPs, bench hardware, and software - Create test logic RTL to conduct validation and characterization tests - Drive new silicon product bring-up, validation, and debug to assess IP functionality and performance - Characterize data sheet parameters and analyze measured data with a statistical view - Serve as a central resource for design, verification, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing teams - Support customer issues post-product release Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in Silicon Design Validation - Electrical Engineering degree with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Silicon Design Validation - Expertise in High-Speed Serdes Interface characterization and protocol compliance testing - Proficiency in Verilog/VHDL and FPGA development tools - Experience in test automation development using Python, Perl - Knowledge of statistical analysis concepts and tools such as JMP, R - Familiarity with bench equipment for device characterization - Exposure to FPGA emulation/prototyping - Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration - Self-motivated, proactive, with critical thinking skills and good problem-solving abilities Join Lattice's dynamic team if you are passionate about innovation, self-challenge, and contributing to cutting-edge projects in Silicon Design Validation Engineering.,
