Senior Shopify Developer

As a Shopify Developer, your role involves developing and customizing Shopify themes, encompassing both front-end and back-end development. You will collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create and implement custom features and functionalities. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing websites for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience, as well as integrating third-party apps and APIs to enhance the functionality of Shopify stores. In addition, you will troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs, working with clients to understand their business needs and translating them into technical requirements. Providing ongoing support and maintenance for Shopify stores is also part of your role, staying up-to-date with the latest e-commerce and Shopify trends and technologies, and developing custom Shopify apps or features as needed. You will also be responsible for training and assisting colleagues in technical tasks and best practices. - 2-3 years of experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and development. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language. - Experience with Shopify's APIs and app integration. - Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. As a preferred skill, familiarity with Shopify Plus features and capabilities, experience with headless commerce and using Shopify as a headless CMS, and development of custom Shopify apps are considered advantageous.
