Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

• Work with department head on establishing company QA standards
• Develop a complete set of test cases within QA TestRail along with support for both manual and automated Selenium test scripts
• Manage bugs and issues through Jira, including root cause and corrective actions
• Document QA activities with internal reporting and audits leveraging QA TestRail’s dashboards
• Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines
• Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills
• 3-8 Years of Experience

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan, execute, and oversee QA testing activities of incoming and outgoing product and sprints
• Assist engineering in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels and release readiness
• Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
• Develop or update client feedback and UAT testing procedures to ensure proper documentation of client UAT complaints and feedback
• Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional certification, such as Quality Engineer, Selenium Test Automation, JMeter Load Tester • Superb computer competence including Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of QA terminology, methods, and tools including QA TestRail, Selenium and JMeter • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Experience:

• QA/QC: 3 years (Preferred)
