Senior Operation Executive

As an Operations Senior Executive at Adventures Overland, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for managing travel operations with utmost precision and expertise. Your role will involve utilizing your strong knowledge of the Amadeus ticketing system and comprehensive understanding of global destinations to ensure seamless travel bookings and customer assistance. Your key responsibilities will include handling international and domestic air ticketing through the Amadeus GDS with accuracy and efficiency. You will be in charge of managing ticket issuances, reissuances, voids, refunds, and exchanges, while providing expert advice to clients and colleagues on routing, fares, and destination-related travel information. Collaborating with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and other service providers will be crucial in coordinating seamless travel arrangements. In addition, you will be expected to deliver excellent customer support for pre-travel queries, booking modifications, and on-trip assistance. Keeping yourself updated with airline policies, fare structures, and visa regulations is essential to ensure smooth operations. Your role will also involve preparing MIS reports, monitoring PNRs, and ensuring timely follow-ups to maintain operational efficiency. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ticketing and travel operations, with a strong proficiency in the Amadeus GDS ticketing system. Your in-depth knowledge of global destinations, corporate travel, and leisure itineraries will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service. Excellent communication, customer service, multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and coordination skills are imperative for success in this position. A graduate degree, preferably in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field, is required. Additional certifications in GDS/IATA or Amadeus will be advantageous.
