Senior Network Security Engineer

As a Network Security Team Lead, your role will be crucial in ensuring a robust security posture across data center and public cloud infrastructures. You will specialize in supporting enterprise architecture by integrating multiple security products and providing advanced operational support for various security systems. Your expertise in DDoS technologies, security infrastructure management, network analysis, and routing protocols will be essential for addressing critical business challenges and enhancing system integrity. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance with security standards and regulations and handling escalated security cases effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Specialize in integrating multiple security products to support enterprise architecture and ensure a robust security posture. - Provide advanced operational support for firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, and NAC systems to address critical business challenges. - Demonstrate expert-level understanding of DDoS technologies and mitigation strategies. - Independently manage security infrastructure, address complex issues, and recommend design modifications for enhanced performance. - Perform TCP/IP network traces and packet captures, with the ability to interpret results accurately. - Exhibit proficiency with security technologies like Palo Alto Threat Protection, Cisco Firepower, Check Point IPS/IDS, and Zscaler. - Provide extensive support for routing protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, IOS-XR, MPLS VPN, and Multicast. - Maintain a solid understanding of LAN and WAN architectures, Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, and routers. - Understand L2/L3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and Port-channel. - Understand AWS and Azure architecture for cloud integration and deployment. - Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations through periodic audits and assessments. - Handle escalated cases from the L3 team, demonstrating a strong grasp of core security principles. - Configure, manage, and support Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Next-Generation Intrusion Prevention Systems (NGIPS).
