Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Java with deep expertise in Elasticsearch and strong backend development experience. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable search solutions and backend systems in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.  

Experience: 7 10 years 

Location: Pune / Mumbai  

Mode of Work : Full time hybrid 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Design and develop scalable and high-performance Java-based applications with Elasticsearch integration. 
  
• Develop search engine functionalities including indexing, querying, and data visualization.  
  
• Work closely with architects and product managers to design solutions that meet business requirements.  
  
• Optimize and tune Elasticsearch clusters for performance, reliability, and scalability. 
  
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and other Java frameworks. 
  
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Elasticsearch and application performance. 
  
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices using tools like SonarQube, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. 
  
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews. 
  

Requirements:  

• 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development. 
  
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 
  
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Elasticsearch in a production environment. 
  
• Strong experience with Spring/Spring Boot framework. 
  
• Proficient in REST APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques. 
  
• Experience with Elasticsearch architecture, indexing strategies, custom analyzers, and query DSL. 
  
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus. 
  
• Strong knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. 
  
• Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, etc.) 
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities 
  

 Good to have skills: 

• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). 
  
• Exposure cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. 
  
• Knowledge of performance tuning and distributed systems.
