Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Migration Lead to drive large-scale on-premises to Azure cloud migration projects. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on expertise with Azure tools and infrastructure, and coordination across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, networking, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipeline integration, with proven experience in migration planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Lift & Shift and clean deployment migrations using Azure Migrate.

Conduct application intake, discovery, and dependency analysis to plan migrations effectively.

Design and implement detailed migration runbooks, playbooks, and cutover plans.

Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps.

Troubleshoot migration and infrastructure issues to ensure smooth transitions.

Monitor migration status, manage risks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Work extensively with Azure components including Entra ID (Azure AD), Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), firewalls, and monitoring tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS services and networking concepts.

Experience in migrating VMware workloads and Windows Server environments to Azure.

Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Azure provisioning.

Skilled in CI/CD pipeline integration using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.

Demonstrated customer-facing experience with excellent communication and documentation skills related to migration projects.

Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments and management.

Nice to Have

Exposure to AWS migration projects and cloud environments.

Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect.

Location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore/ Coimbatore/ Pune
