Senior Engineer - Deployment Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer Deployment Site Reliability Engineer at Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) in Pune, India, you will be responsible for automating deployment processes to enhance efficiency and support global network infrastructure. Your role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure high availability and performance of cloud infrastructure while implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible - Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish best practices for code management and version control - Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance - Automate deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and speed up release cycles - Provide training and support to team members on Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools - Manage and optimize resource inventory to minimize costs while meeting performance requirements - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate Infrastructure as Code practices into existing workflows - Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and operational procedures - Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly - Ensure network resiliency and test network failover - Support project managers and regional management team in project planning, tracking, and reporting when required Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in a corporate global network environment, preferably with financial institutions - Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems - Skilled in monitoring tools and incident management - Understanding of networking protocols and experience with network hardware - Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages - Experience with version control systems like Git - Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration - Ability to work in an Agile environment and mentor team members - Certified technical engineer (e.g., Cisco CCNP or equivalent) - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as per business requirements Additional Company Details: The company encourages a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
