Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and implementing on-premises cloud platform automation for Intel Tiber AI Cloud. Your role will involve enhancing and streamlining platform provisioning automation to efficiently deliver bare metal and virtualized resources for customers. Collaboration with development and site reliability engineering teams will be essential to ensure high availability and security across systems and applications. Key Responsibilities: - Set up Ansible-based infrastructure provisioning, including developing custom Ansible modules. - Demonstrate technical expertise in Ubuntu administration and strong Kubernetes proficiency. - Utilize programming skills in Golang, Bash, and Python for platform engineering tasks. - Manage secret and TLS certificate on Kubernetes using tools like HashiCorp Vault, External Secret Operator, Vault Injector, and Cert Manager. - Apply working knowledge of networking infrastructure including Load Balancers, Firewalls, DHCP, DNS, VLANs. - Handle on-premises bare metal provisioning with a plus point for Ironic experience. - Utilize system management tools like Redfish and IPMI for system management tasks. - Proficiency in Terraform for AWS infrastructure management and experience with AWS services like EC2, EKS, RDS, ALB, S3, CloudFront. - Use KVM for creating and managing virtual machines. Qualifications: - BSc or MSc in Computer Science or similar field. - 7+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering with hands-on experience in managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
