Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer Hybrid (On-Prem + Cloud)

Objective

Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience

automation, scalability, hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud), event-driven architectures, and building modern microservice ecosystems

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for seamless deployments.

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Set up and optimize API Gateway and Nginx for microservices and API orchestration.

• Integrate and manage Apache Kafka for event streaming and microservice communication.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of services.

• Manage and streamline QA, Staging, and Live environments for high reliability.

• Automate builds, deployments, and monitoring to improve speed & reliability.

• Ensure system scalability, resilience, and zero-downtime deployments.

• Continuously drive innovation and new ideas to improve infrastructure efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years

  of professional DevOps / Cloud experience.
• Strong expertise in

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Proficiency in

  Terraform

  (IaC) for infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on with

  Docker & Kubernetes

  (hybrid and multi-cloud orchestration).
• Experience with

  Apache Kafka

  (setup, scaling, integration with microservices).
• Strong understanding of

  hybrid deployments (on-prem + cloud)

  .
• Experience with

  API Gateway, Nginx setup, and API orchestration

  .
• Strong understanding of

  microservices architecture

  .
• Experience setting up

  multi-environment workflows (QA, Staging, Production)

  .
• Proficiency in scripting languages (

  Bash, Python, Shell

  ).
• Good knowledge of

  cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

  and

  datacenter operations

  .
• Strong problem-solving,

  innovation-driven mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  monitoring & logging tools
