Senior Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer at Techahead Software Pvt. Ltd., you will be a key member of our dynamic team, utilizing your expertise in NestJS and Node.js to design and develop scalable backend systems. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing best practices for code quality and security, as well as troubleshooting performance and scalability issues in real-time environments. It is essential to stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of professional experience in backend development. You should have a strong background in Node.js, including a minimum of 3 years with NestJS, along with a solid understanding of TypeScript and modern JavaScript. Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs, working with WebSockets, and experience with microservices architecture and serverless applications are also required. Additionally, you should have a good grasp of database design, working with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases, as well as experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Strong communication and leadership abilities are also highly valued. Preferred skills for this position include experience with GraphQL APIs, knowledge of message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Pub/Sub, understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and a background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
