Senior Automation Tester

As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst at Citigroup, your role involves supporting initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. You will work closely with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach. Additionally, you will conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments, reporting issues and making recommendations for solutions. It is crucial for you to ensure project standards and procedures are well-documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle, while also monitoring products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures. Your responsibilities include documenting findings, performing root cause analyses, ensuring corrective actions are completed, verifying traceability in project work products, gathering and maintaining quality metrics reports, and providing informal guidance to new team members. Your role directly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by yourself and others, as well as impacting your own team and closely related work teams. You are expected to appropriately assess risk when making business decisions and demonstrate particular consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Support initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout - Design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for application testing strategy - Conduct process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments - Ensure project standards and procedures are documented and followed - Monitor products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures - Document findings, perform root cause analyses, and ensure corrective actions are completed - Verify traceability in project work products - Gather, maintain, and create reports on quality metrics - Provide informal guidance to new team members - Assess risk when making business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws and regulations Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in Automation testing with hands-on experience in manual testing - Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as SCRUM - Experience in all phases of software testing including Test Planning, Functional and Regression testing - Familiarity with BDD framework using Cucumber - Ability to write test scripts using BDD framework, maintain and automate scenarios using Java and Selenium WebDriver - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket/GitHub, and API automation - Ability to develop QA automation framework from scratch - Experience in SQL queries, DB testing, and Web Service Testing using tools like Postman - Excellent communication skills Your expertise in automation testing, manual testing, Agile methodologies, and various testing tools will be vital in contributing to the success of the team and achieving the objectives of IT Quality at Citigroup.,
