About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in native Android app development, excellent coding skills, and a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and data sources to integrate functionality.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Debug, test, and fix issues to maintain high app quality.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Manage app releases to the Google Play Store.
• Maintain documentation and follow coding best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Android app development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Android SDK.
• Sound knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of Material Design, UI/UX principles, and responsive layouts.
• Experience with Firebase, SQLite, or other local databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience in Flutter or React Native (cross-platform development).
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture, Dependency Injection, or Clean Architecture.
• Exposure to App Store deployment process and CI/CD pipelines.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
