What You'll Do

What You Will Work On

• Take ownership of the end-to-end development of native Android applications.
  
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and security best practices.
  

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical and business requirements.
  

• Design and deliver high-quality features with a focus on performance and usability.
  

• Provide technical leadership and direction across projects and development teams.
  

• Mentor junior developers, supporting their technical growth and code quality.
  

• Support and maintain production stability, including identifying and resolving issues.
  

• Continuously drive innovation and implement best practices in Android development.
  

• Work hands-on with Kotlin to build and enhance mobile applications.
  

• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring new features to life.
  

• Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
  

• Optimize app performance for responsiveness, efficiency, and smooth user experience.
  

• Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies, tools, and trends.

The skills and qualifications you'll need-

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in native Android application development with strong expertise in Kotlin. Skilled in applying architecture and design patterns such as MVVM / Clean Architecture, with the ability to integrate third-party libraries using Gradle.
  

• Experienced in writing unit and UI tests using JUnit and Espresso, and in delivering end-to-end solutions including design, development, testing, deployment, and Play Store release management.
  

• Ability to mentor, set coding standards, and drive technical decisions across distributed teams.
  

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and networking best practices including caching, error handling, and security.
  

• Experience with code reviews, pull requests, and collaborative development in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
  

• Familiarity with Jetpack components (e.g., Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, Room) and modern Android development tools.
  

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Gradle, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise for automated builds and deployments.
  

• Strong understanding of Google’s Material Design Guidelines and commitment to building accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
