Senior Advanced Services Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and administering Oracle WebLogic Server. Your expertise in Oracle WebLogic Architecture, clustering, and domain configuration will be crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot WebLogic issues, handle upgrades and patching, and perform performance tuning and monitoring of WebLogic server components. Strong communication and customer management skills are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and administer Oracle WebLogic Server - Demonstrate expert knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Architecture, clustering, and domain configuration - Troubleshoot WebLogic issues - Handle upgrades and patching of WebLogic - Perform performance tuning of WebLogic server components and monitor aspects of WebLogic - Manage escalated technical situations and develop action plans - Facilitate communication between Development and Support teams - Utilize sharp technical troubleshooting skills - Understand and follow support processes effectively - Identify proactive services that benefit customers - Be prepared for some travel as required Qualifications Required: - At least 7+ years of experience as an Oracle WebLogic Administrator/Consultant/Support Engineer - BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred - Oracle WebLogic / SOA / OCI Certification is preferred - Optional skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and Containers are a plus - Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 11g/12c/13c is advantageous - Strong analytical skills and ability to work with customers independently - Excellent communication skills to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Additional Details: As an Advanced Support Engineer, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, delivering post-sales support and solutions while advocating for customer needs. You will interact with customers" IT staff to resolve moderately complex technical problems related to Oracle products. Your role may involve travel and working with minimal guidance from management.
