Senior Accounts Executive

Sr. Accountant's job involves overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing detailed financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and tax regulations, performing complex financial analysis, and managing month-end and year-end close processes. Key responsibilities also include managing general ledgers, account reconciliations, assisting with budgets and forecasts, improving financial processes, and often mentoring junior staff. They require a bachelor's degree in accounting, strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing accurate financial statements (income statements, balance sheets), summarizing financial status, and analyzing trends and variances to provide insights for decision-making.
• Accounting Cycle Management: Overseeing the entire accounting cycle, including managing general ledgers, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting with the preparation of budgets, performing monthly budget variance analyses, and supporting financial planning.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles (GAAP) and tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and supporting internal and external audits.
• Process Improvement: Developing and improving accounting processes and internal controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and security.
• Team Management & Mentoring: Supervising and reviewing the work of junior accounting staff, providing training, and offering technical support.
• Financial Systems: Using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is typically required.
• Experience: A solid background in financial management, with experience in high-level accounting tasks and financial analysis.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software, electronic ledger systems, and advanced features in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to manage complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accuracy in financial records and reports.
• Knowledge :In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), internal controls, and business trends

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
