Senior Accounts Executive

As a member of the Finance & Accounts team at our office in Nungambakkam, Chennai, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include validating and approving vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations, managing complex vendor reconciliations, overseeing the Goods receipt and invoice receipt process, as well as inventory valuation. In addition to these core tasks, you will also be expected to lead your team effectively by delegating tasks and managing workloads to ensure deadlines are met. Compliance with GST provisions is crucial, and you will be responsible for accurate transaction accounting, timely filing of GSTR 3B, and supporting internal and external audits with necessary documentation and reconciliations. Process improvement is a key focus area, where you will implement best practices to enhance accuracy and reduce processing time. Collaborating with the finance team for MIS reporting and financial planning will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you must be a CA Inter qualified professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems is required, along with strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance. Advanced MS Office skills are also essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective team management capabilities are important soft skills for this role. Prior experience in the e-commerce or retail industry will be advantageous. This is a full-time position with benefits including food, health insurance, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
