Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and pytest
• Create, enhance, and execute automated tests for APIs, backend services, and system-level validation
• Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture, design, and implementation details to ensure test coverage across all functionalities
• Build automation scripts to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Develop detailed and efficient test strategies for new features and releases
• Execute performance, regression, and integration testing to ensure product stability
• Debug, analyze, and report issues, ensuring timely resolution and quality delivery
• Contribute to improving test coverage, reliability, and scalability of automation frameworks
• Integrate automated test suites with build systems and monitor test runs across environments
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best testing practices are consistently followed
• Drive process improvement initiatives for automation, test data management, and test execution efficiency
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Test Engineer
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python, pytest, and API automation testing tools
• Framework Knowledge: Solid understanding of test automation design principles, framework architecture, and scripting best practices
• Analytical Skills: Ability to identify gaps in automation coverage, debug complex systems, and optimize test performance
• Tools & Systems: Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps; experience in working with RESTful APIs and Postman
• Collaboration: Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in agile environments
