SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

You will be joining a team at Align Technology that is dedicated to transforming lives through technology as a Software Developer in Test (SDET). Your main focus will be to support quality assurance and test automation for digital dentistry platforms, which includes clear aligner systems, intraoral scanners, and dental imaging software. The role requires full test lifecycle ownership in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. - Develop and maintain automation frameworks from scratch - Build and run automated test suites for frontend and backend systems - Design and implement performance tests using tools like K6, JMeter, or LoadRunner - Write unit, integration, and E2E test cases - Collaborate with developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to ensure high quality - Debug, review, and enhance code written by other team members - Maintain test environments and CI/CD pipelines - Contribute to continuous improvements in test strategy and processes - Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering - 3-5 years in software testing with strong automation skills - Strong programming knowledge in C# (mandatory); Python is a plus - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, Locust) - Solid understanding of functional and non-functional testing - Exposure to Cloud/SaaS-based applications - Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills If you have experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services, and familiarity with multidisciplinary R&D environments, it would be a plus to excel in this role.,
