Job Description

As an Automation Testing professional with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for various tasks related to web application and backend services testing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting automation testing for UI and API - Demonstrating proficiency in system testing, bug life cycle, test plan, and reporting - Possessing expertise in web UI, API, and Mobile testing and debugging - Utilizing hands-on experience with DB (SQL, NoSQL) and Linux/Unix commands - Applying skills in API automation using tools like rest-assured and UI automation tools like Selenium - Identifying risks and errors in applications - Handling ambiguous and undefined problems effectively - Conducting debugging and root cause analysis - Showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrating self-motivation, ownership, and a passion for testing and test automation - Breaking down systems to find difficult bugs - Asking the right questions to create clarity in requirements In addition to the qualifications and responsibilities mentioned above, the ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications, experience, and skills: - 5+ years of experience in Automation testing, with a focus on UI and API testing - Strong knowledge of web application and backend services testing - Proficiency in bug life cycle, test plan, and reporting - Familiarity with web UI, API, and Mobile testing and debugging - Hands-on experience with DB (SQL, NoSQL) and Linux/Unix commands - Experience with API automation using rest-assured and UI automation tools like Selenium - Ability to recognize risks and errors in applications - Experience in debugging and root cause analysis - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated, takes ownership, and passionate about testing and test automation - Ability to find difficult bugs by breaking down systems - Skilled in asking the right questions to clarify requirements,
