Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with exceptional Ruby on Rails skills who can independently deliver high-impact features while maintaining close alignment with business teams and clients. This role requires a high level of ownership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop complex backend systems using Ruby on Rails.
Own end-to-end feature development, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and scaling.
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into tech solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Contribute to system performance improvements, scalability planning, and fault tolerance.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with backend systems and strong expertise in Ruby on Rails.
Proven track record of delivering production-grade software in fast-paced environments.
Experience working with Kafka and RabbitMQ, Docker, Microsoft Azure, and GraphQL.
Prior experience with LLMs and OpenAI API integrations is required.
High levels of ownership, accountability, and autonomy.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially with non-technical teams and clients.
Strong grasp of backend architecture, database optimization, and DevOps fundamentals.
