Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PI/PO Consultant to support the delivery of SAP integration services under a staff augmentation model. The Consultant will be deployed on-site in Gurgaon to support ongoing initiatives for a global banking client. This role focuses on enhancing the SAP Process Integration (PI) system through development, customization, testing, documentation and collaboration across technical and business teams.
The Consultant will work in close alignment with the client's feature and platform teams, contributing to solution delivery, issue resolution, compliance and the deployment (implementation) of technical changes in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Consultant will be responsible for the following key activities:
Development and customization of functional areas within the SAP PI system.
Using ABAP skills to support related development and integration tasks.
Ensuring seamless interactions with Azure Integration Services and other third-party systems (e.g., Connect Direct, Digital Channels).
Performing unit and end-to-end testing of SAP PI configurations.
Resolving defects raised during SIT and UAT cycles in coordination with QA and functional teams.
Participating in technical workshops and presenting SAP PI solutions as required.
Creating solution design documentation for end-to-end business/technical scenarios.
Supporting both functional and technical testing of the SAP PI system.
Working collaboratively with SAP Feature Teams to manage interdependencies across platforms.
