Job Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP and Process Orchestration (PO) Developer with a strong foundation in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), object-oriented ABAP development, and end-to-end integration expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs within SAP, and a deep understanding of SAP PO adapters such as HTTP, RFC, IDoc, and PROXY. This role also requires strong monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities across SAP and middleware layers to ensure stable and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable SAP ABAP solutions, with a focus on OO ABAP programmingpractices.

• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions in the SAP SD module.

• Design and build RESTful services within SAP and consume external REST APIs using standard SAP technologies (ICF/SICF, HTTP client classes, etc.).

• Develop and maintain integrations using SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO), leveraging adapters including HTTP, RFC, IDoc, and PROXY.

• Conduct proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and performance tuning for both SAP and PO interfaces.

• Use standard SAP tools (e.g., SMICM, SXMB_MONI, SRT_MONI, IDOC Monitor, Runtime Workbench) to troubleshoot interface and system issues.

• Provide production support for custom developments and integrations, ensuring high availability and stability.

• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and support handover materials.

• Participate in code reviews and follow SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP development experience, including strong OO ABAP.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) business processes and data structures.

• Strong experience in building and consuming REST APIs from SAP systems.

• Proven expertise in SAP Process Orchestration (PO/PI), including familiarity with Enterprise Service Repository (ESR) and Integration Directory (ID).

• Strong working knowledge of PO adapters: HTTP, RFC, IDoc, PROXY.

• Proficiency in using monitoring and diagnostic tools across SAP ECC/S4HANA and PO landscapes.

• Experience in issue analysis, root cause determination, and performance optimization.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Gateway/OData Services and SAP BTP integration scenarios.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and SAP DevOps toolsets.
