Sap Advanced Business Application Programming Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in both backend and frontend development to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge SAP BTP cloud applications as our factory systems transition to the cloud. The ideal candidate will be proficient in OOPs ABAP, OData services, Core Data Services (CDS), and have a solid understanding of frontend integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable SAP ABAP solutions in the BTP cloud environment.
• Work on both backend (ABAP, CDS, OData) and frontend aspects of SAP applications.
• Develop and expose OData services for frontend consumption.
• Create and manage Core Data Services (CDS) views for efficient data modeling.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles in ABAP development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• SAP ABAP (Advanced level)
• Object-Oriented Programming in ABAP
• OData Services Development
• Core Data Services (CDS)
• SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) experience
• Exposure to frontend technologies (e.g., SAPUI5, Fiori) is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based SAP application development
• Understanding of SAP Fiori Elements and annotation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
