Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong technical expertise in S/4HANA migration projects, including SPAU/SPDD, IDOC, and OData. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ECC to S/4HANA code adaptation and will be responsible for ensuring seamless migration, optimization, and performance tuning of ABAP developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute ABAP development and migration activities during ECC to S/4HANA transitions.
• Handle SPDD, SPAU, SPAU_ENH adjustments and related upgrade processes.
• Perform custom code remediation and adaptation for S/4HANA environments.
• Develop and maintain RICEF objects — Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Collaborate with functional teams to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized solutions.
• Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.

Must Have Skills

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in S/4HANA ABAP and RICEF objects.
• Proven experience with SPAU/SPDD and upgrade processes.
• Solid understanding of IDOC processing and OData services.
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables end-to-end.

Good to Have

• Exposure to S/4HANA migration or conversion projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and clean core/BTP extensions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
