Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the e-Governance sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior officials across government bodies and PSUs. Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, proposal creation, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and closure. Proactively track tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and empowerment opportunities on government procurement platforms such as GeM, CPP, and eProc. Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions that address client requirements. Oversee project implementation and ensure ongoing client satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships. Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and official government meetings. Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a strong advantage. 610 years of experience in IT/solutions sales, with at least 3 years in government/e-Governance. In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, bidding norms, and compliance frameworks. Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management. Strong ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience working with organizations like NIC, NeGD, state e-Governance missions, Smart City initiatives, or under the Digital India umbrella. Understanding of government digital platforms and ICT ecosystems such as cloud infrastructure, data centers, GIS, surveillance, and cybersecurity. An established network of contacts within key government departments and agencies
