Job Description

We seek a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. As an SDR, you will be key in generating new business opportunities by researching, identifying, qualifying, and setting up meetings with potential customers. Your focus will be on educating prospects about the value of our products, connecting with prospects pain points, specifically lead routing and lead-to-account matching solutions, and building a robust sales pipeline. At this point, we anticipate SDR to be using primarily written communication (such as LinkedIn, Email, Forum Posting etc), however, it may extend to phone/meeting based conversation as well.

 

Key Responsibilities

:
 
Prospect and Outreach:
  • Identify potential B2B SaaS and CRM customers through research and lead-generation tools.
  • Conduct outreach (emails, LinkedIn, forum messages etc) to engage and qualify prospects.
Qualify Leads:
  • Understand prospects pain points in lead management and CRM workflows.
  • Use discovery calls to evaluate potential fit and pass qualified leads to the sales team.
Educate and Inform:
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our lead routing and lead-to-account matching products.
  • Share relevant content, case studies, and product features to nurture interest.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing:
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team to refine campaigns based on prospect interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities in the system.
  • Regularly update pipeline reports and provide insights on lead quality.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (preferably in B2B enterprise SaaS).

Key Skills:

  • Good prospect research ability and judgment/analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts (knowledge of Salesforce or HubSpot CRM is a plus).
  • Highly organized and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
