SailPoint Operations Engineer

As a Sailpoint Operations professional at Cognizant in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of SailPoint IIQ through your comprehensive understanding of its configuration, administration, and deployment. You should possess a deep knowledge of IAM concepts such as provisioning, RBAC/ABAC, certifications, and audit compliance, and be proficient in managing User Lifecycle processes like Joiner-Mover-Leaver. It is essential to have a strong grasp of modern cybersecurity principles like Zero Trust and least privilege, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with security, compliance, and IT teams. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical issues related to SailPoint components and integrations, conducting health check monitoring to maintain system availability, and managing the production infrastructure. You will be responsible for minor patch upgrades, break-fix tasks, and certification campaigns in coordination with Audit teams. Optimizing identity aggregation, correlation, and reconciliation processes, as well as overseeing release and change management activities for build and deployment processes, will be part of your daily responsibilities. As a proactive team member, you will champion problem and incident management best practices, ensure SLA adherence, and drive root cause resolution to minimize future incidents. Participating in the production support on-call rotation and collaborating with vendors to address root causes and implement mitigation strategies for future incidents are also key aspects of your role. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and presenting them effectively to decision-makers, along with demonstrating excellent time management skills in a dynamic environment, will be crucial to your success in this position.
